So Jodie Marsh was evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house. It was obvious she was going to get the boot to be perfectly honest. George Galloway’s mate Saddam Hussein has more chance of getting all his charges dropped than Jodie did of surviving.

Anyone like me who has watched the last week of BB will know exactly why Jodie was nominated for eviction and why the public wanted her out. In a sad act she became an outcast from the group, this was all her own doing, the bitching, solemn behaviour and generally unpleasant temperament lead to her problems.

In the past I have enjoyed watching troublemakers in the BB house but Jodie was just too awful for me, she had to go and when Davina read out her name I was more than pleased.

It's like a ski slope! How did she get in FHM?

I went to see my friend in Bristol again this evening; he is running an internet café, Wired Web Café just off the Gloucester Road. It is a good setup he has there – excellent, fresh coffee and super fast internet (there’s your free plug John).

The person in this shot is either me, my friend or, strangly as neither of us were wearing blue.... a ghost!!!

Something I find (slightly) interesting is the webcam he has setup in store. You can view it on the café website here. It refreshes every few seconds so take a look at all the chavs, students and “Gert Lush” Bristolians who use the facilities.

I’ve been a little busy of late of so that’s why there have been no blogs since Saturday. One thing I have been doing is playing on the Xbox 360…

Sunday – The EA Servers went down. Still being new to the Xbox Live lark I was unsure whether the servers were indeed down or there was something wrong with my hardware/software setup, especially as there were no reports on the EA website or forums.

The EA website suggested updating the firmware on my router, which I did. This did not solve the problem and I was left feeling aggrieved and stressed that my cool new equipment was no longer cool or working properly.

Come Monday the issue was resolved, the EA Servers were indeed down (they could have said so somewhere!) and I was back to playing online. Project Gotham Racing 3 also turned up from Play.com. In between games of Fifa I have had a few races. Will give it a proper go when I get time, I don’t feel confident to take anybody online yet though.

I’ve been playing Fifa 06 on Xbox Live far too much today, I’ve had to stop now or else I’ll end up playing it into the early hours of the morning. Problem is, when I play online I cannot walk away from it unless I have won my last game. Maybe stepping a little into the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder territory although I think it can simply be put down to the fact that Fifa 06 is so addictive.

The great thing about playing online is every game is different. When you play against the computer it doesn’t take long to learn how it reacts and then you can win 3-0 on any difficulty. When playing an actual person you have no idea of their style of play and makes it much more of a challenge. One tip I have found: Play before 10am in the morning, this is when the children play. They are normally easy to beat, become demoralised and you can end up with impressive 4-0 scorlines.

Once again, if anyone wants to play me, simply add my tag SparksterLUFC to your Xbox Live Friends section, best send me an e-mail to let me know your doing it though.

Finally, congratulations to Leeds United. They played Wigan in the FA Cp today. The game ended in a 1-1 draw, forcing a replay at Elland Road on the 17th January. Wigan are a Premiership side, Leeds played them twice last year and lost 2-0 & 3-0. This draw against an improved Wigan team shows how far Leeds have come. Hopefully Leeds can get a win next week and go on to the next stage. Wembley here we come!

Well my Xbox 360 turned up today, I’m all registered on the Xbox Live service under the tag SparksterLUFC. I have been playing Fifa 06 a lot online. The people I play are either very crap who I end up beating 3-0 or superb and absolutely thrash me.

The graphics on the 360 are excellent. Fifa 06 is moving so close to reality and at times it is hard to distinguish between the game and an episode of Match of the Day!

I haven’t had much time to try Call of Duty 2, the other game which I bought. I have also ordered Project Gotham Racing 3 which should hopefully arrive tomorrow.

Will surely blog more about my fabulous new piece of kit soon. If anybody wants to play me contact me here and then add me to your Friends profile. My tag is SparksterLUFC.

It’s back! Celebrity Big Brother makes its return for a fourth series tonight on Channel 4 at 9pm. I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here was good back in November but that was just a taster. Big Brother is the original and indeed the best reality TV show. This time around it will last for 23 days!

Last years CBB was simply brilliant. John McCririck with his rants, stubbornness and anger at the lack of Diet Coke and milk was just quality. Jackie Stallone was also superb. The old bat had no idea where she was, expecting chandlers hanging from the ceiling, champagne with meals and Bill Gates and Madonna as housemates.

This years Big Brother will have a very hard job to top last years, celebrities rumoured to be entering the house are Macaulay Culkin, the kid from Home Alone who is also Michael Jackson’s mate. Michael Barrymore is also set to make an appearance, should Big Brother organise any parties this time around they would be wise to close off the Jacuzzi and swimming pool…. I’m only joking! :o)

In reality I think it is doubtful either Culkin or Barrymore will appear. In previous series many Celebs have been linked with the show and failed to take part. These recent stories are probably just the shows producers gaining publicity.

Some Celebs I would like to see….

Timmy Mallet – legend to anyone who grew up in the 80’s or early 90’s.

Jackie Stallone – stick the old bat in again, she was brilliant last time.

Mark and Lard – the two funniest DJs ever on Radio 1. Sadly missed.

Lizzie Bardsley – the fat, common one from Wife Swap who was on £50k a year in benefits. Ghastly woman but would make good TV.

Adrian Edmondson – very funny man, star of Young Ones and Bottom

Yesterday I bought another electrical gadget, shouldn’t have really but I have wanted one for ages and they are as rare as rocking horse poo to buy. I am awaiting on order from Argos… an Xbox 360!

The Xbox 360 is the latest piece of video game technology and up until the release of the PlayStation 3 the best console on the planet.

I’m really looking forward to playing some next generation games, already bought Fifa 06 and Call of Duty 2, both of which look superb. You can play both of these games online against players from all over the world via a broadband modem. This is another plus point for me; I am a big fan of the Fifa games and struggle to find anybody who can match my skill. I am sure I can find some Japanese gaming enthusiast who will give me a run for my money.

I’ll let you know how I get on Friday when my precious piece of kit arrives!

IT’S JUST LIKE WATCHING BRAZIL!!!!!!
Leeds United 3-0 Plymouth Argyle

Super Leeds United put out an magnificent performance in the second half against Plymouth Argyle to win the first game of 2006 comfortably 3-0, Leeds’ biggest win of the season and the best I have honestly seen them play in years!

I was in the local pub watching the game, a location which doesn’t have good memories for me watching Leeds. Games I have watched there include a 4-0 hammering by Leicester City. Because of this I take a lot of stick from friends and some Scum supporting bar staff. Today’s performance really silenced the critics and showed everyone what a great team Leeds are.

Richard Cresswell and Robbie Blake got the goals for Leeds with Rob Hulse scoring a fabulous penalty which Thierry Henry would be proud of. Leeds are now chasing 2nd place Sheffield United, only 8 points behind them now, they’re 12 points clear in the play offs. Things are looking up.

Here is a mix for the game, one of my best if I do say so myself. The score line did help! :o)

Finally Sven, if Michael Owen’s broken foot doesn’t get better and you’re short on strikers for the World Cup there’s always Robbie Blake at Leeds!

Happy New Year to all! Hope you all had a good evening the other night.

I went to my friends in Bristol on New Years Eve for an evening of curry, drinks, bit of crap telly and some GoldenEye on the N64. Not massively interesting but New Years is overrated in my opinion anyway – bah humbug!

I did get a little freaked in a Smile supermarket that evening. We were queuing with a few supplies for the night when some homeless people walked into the shop. They were obviously as high as kites, staggering about the place falling into people and shelves. One of them moaned “Oh man! This shop is messing with my mind! They don’t sell any Special Brew”. They certainly didn’t give the stereotypical image of a drunk, smelly, dirty tramp any reason to be doubted.

Also went to see my Bath friends last night, we hired out a film called Ong-Bak from Telewest’s pay-per-view service. Ong-Bak is a Thai fighting film about a man who has to retrieve a stolen Buddah head and save his village.

Inevitably it’s not just a case of collecting the artefact from the thieves; a lot of fighting is involved. The stunts and fights are very impressive; apparently no stunts of computer images were used.

The film did not have an English soundtrack and was subtitle. Not normally a problem but when it’s midnight and you’re tired from the night before it was a little annoying to keep reading.

Onto football, Leeds comfortably won the New Years Eve fixture against Hull City 2-0. Very pleasing news to hear that The Mighty Whites are playing so well, a mix for the game can be found here.

Leeds are playing again today, Plymouth Argyle. I was originally planning on going to this fixture; I even had the tickets at one point. Sky then decided they wanted to air the game so changed it to a 5.15 kick off. This was too late for my dad who couldn’t take me in the car, I thought about going on my own and meeting up with some fellow Leeds fans but the last train back to Bath was far too early. Instead I am dragging some friends down to the local pub to watch Super Leeds (hopefully) get a 4th win in 8 days.
