The Longest Day

Today is going to drag. I am on annual leave all next week, and today I am watching the hours on the clock slowly count down to 4.

I have lots of plans for next week. Tomorrow I am going up to Leeds to watch the (not so) Mighty Whites play Colchester. Sunday, I will be returning south, where I will watch Mitchell and Webb live at The Colston Hall in Bristol.

On Thursday, Dan is escaping from the bustling city of London and coming to Bath for a few days. No doubt there will be lots of retro gaming, music, trips to the cinema to watch the new Bond movie and the odd moment of madness – probably when Mr. Watkins makes an appearance.

I also need to do ALL my Christmas shopping. Yes, I know it's early, but I totally refuse to make any festive purchases in December - it is just too mad and stressful, in fact I try to avoid any shop whatsoever that month. Maybe I'll steer clear of town altogether and just buy all my gifts from eBay and Play.com.

There are of course all those other plans everyone makes when they have a week off work… Read War and Peace back-to-back, learn to play the clarinet, teach myself German and attempt to perform 20 press-ups a day.

With all these things to do, expect lots and lots of blogging about my activities, or none at all due to the fact I have no time.
