The Beast

I am in a deep state of shock having just been ambushed and assaulted while carrying out my job! I would have expected this kind of danger if I was a policeman, soldier or crocodile hunter, but not working in IT Support within a warm, cosy and up until now, safe office.

The incident took place when carrying out an everyday duty of retrieving a box of printer toner from underneath a desk. Upon examining the box I was caught unaware and viciously attacked by a ferocious spider. The beast must have been at least the size of my hand with teeth like needles (I'm not exaggerating here).

Luckily I managed to avoid death by running away. In the heat of the chase, the attacker also escaped. The concerning thing now is that the spider is still at large, free to attack anyone it desires.

I will try to get on with my normal life and not let this threat distract me from my everyday duties. I must not let the spider terrorists win, but it is very difficult.
